We're a passionate organization committed to fostering excellence in education and leadership within British Columbia's Black community. Since 2021, BC BELA and its Executive members have led efforts to drive positive change and support aspiring leaders in education.

 

Our mission is clear: Our mission is to empower and inspire educators who self-identify as Black or of Black African descent to build thriving learning communities by uplifting Black voices and dismantle anti-Black racism and all forms of oppression
